Draws heating oil from the oil storage tank, pressurizes the oil to high pressures, and delivers oil to the oil burner nozzle where the combination of high oil pressure, combustion air, and turbulating devices (in the nozzle and/or at the end of the oil burner) atomize the oil and spray it into the combustion chamber.
